The Oman Electricity Transmission Company (OETC) has issued tenders inviting prominent utility developers and consortiums to bid for the development of two major substation projects—one at 400kV and the other at 132kV.
According to OETC, the 400kV project involves the construction of the Majan 400/220/132kV grid station, along with the associated 400kV Lilo underground cable works connecting the SFZ Grid Station to the SIS Grid Station.
The 132kV project includes building the Sultan Haitham City 132/33kV grid station, in addition to 132kV Lilo underground cable works linking the Mobillah grid station to the Mobillah Industrial grid station.
Interested parties must submit their bids by July 22.
As the owner and operator of Oman’s primary transmission infrastructure, OETC plays a central role in the sultanate’s power sector development.
