Cement deliveries—a key real-time indicator of construction sector activity—rose by 57.1% year-on-year in the first quarter of 2025, according to data released by the Central Bank of Lebanon.
Volumes climbed to approximately 612,700 tons in Q1 2025, up from 389,900 tons during the same period in 2024, marking a strong rebound in construction demand compared to last year’s levels.
