Saudi Arabia is poised to reshape the global skyline with the Jeddah Tower—an architectural marvel set to exceed 3,280 feet in height and become the tallest building in the world. Developed by Jeddah Economic Company (JEC) and designed by Adrian Smith + Gordon Gill—the same architects behind Dubai’s Burj Khalifa—the tower blends visionary design with cutting-edge engineering and sustainability.
Following years of delays, construction is now progressing rapidly. Work has reached the 64th floor, with a new level being completed approximately every four days. Engineers are currently pumping concrete up to 2,624 feet—an unprecedented feat in vertical construction—with plans to go even higher as the tower ascends toward its peak.
Once completed, Jeddah Tower will boast 157 floors, 59 elevators, the world’s highest observation deck, a luxury hotel, upscale residences, and premium office space. More than a standalone structure, the tower anchors a $20 billion mixed-use development that includes schools, hospitals, and housing for over 100,000 residents.
Aligned with Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030, the project is a key milestone in transforming Jeddah into a global destination for commerce, innovation, and culture. Slated for completion in 2028, Jeddah Tower reflects the Kingdom’s ambitions to lead the future of urban development on a monumental scale.
