Amr Abdel Wahab, Chairman of the Egyptian Countryside Development Company, met with Poland’s Ambassador to Egypt, Michał Murkociński, to explore cooperation in agriculture, smart farming, food production, and renewable energy, according to an official statement.
Talks focused on tapping into Poland’s expertise in smart agriculture and advanced machinery, with discussions on the possibility of manufacturing modern tractors in Egypt using Polish technology.
The Egyptian side highlighted its goal of attracting foreign investment to support the country’s flagship 1.5 million feddan land reclamation project, positioning it as a leading sustainable agriculture initiative in the region.
Abdel Wahab stressed that the project offers ample opportunities for scientific and commercial partnerships.
Ambassador Murkociński praised the company’s achievements and emphasized Poland’s strengths in agriculture and resource management, expressing optimism about fostering cooperation in the near future.
Both parties underlined the importance of enhancing technical and economic collaboration and discussed potential Polish participation in infrastructure projects within the NECDA land portfolio.
