Qais Mohammed Al Yousef, Oman’s Minister of Commerce, Industry and Investment Promotion, held a video conference with Dr. Amer Bisat, Lebanon’s Minister of Economy and Trade, to discuss expanding bilateral economic cooperation.
The talks centered on strengthening trade and investment links, with both ministers reviewing opportunities in key sectors such as industrial development, logistics, and cross-border investments. They also explored the feasibility of launching a direct Muscat–Beirut flight route, which would enhance both tourism and trade exchanges.
Additionally, the two sides considered organizing an Omani-Lebanese Economic Forum alongside an exhibition showcasing Lebanese industries, aiming to open new avenues of collaboration.
Both ministers underscored the importance of scaling up economic cooperation into strategic, sustainable partnerships that benefit both countries.
The meeting was also attended by Dr. Ahmed Mohammed Al Saidi, Oman’s ambassador to Lebanon, along with senior officials from both nations.
