The population of GCC countries climbed to 61.2 million by the end of 2024, an increase of 2.1 million people or 3.6% year-on-year, according to GCC-Stat’s latest data released for World Population Day (July 11).
Since 2021, the region has gained 7.6 million residents, underscoring a strong post-pandemic rebound in migration, employment, and population growth.
