Iraq’s Ministry of Electricity has entered into a strategic agreement with Power China International to advance vital electricity transmission and distribution projects, as part of the broader Iraq-China cooperation framework.
According to a statement released by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), the agreement encompasses feasibility studies, technical planning, design, supply, and project execution.
The Ministry noted that this initiative aligns with the government’s ongoing efforts to stabilize and boost the efficiency of Iraq’s national power grid, in response to rising electricity demand across the country.
