A total of 3,407 investors from 60 countries obtained the long-term residency visa by the end of February 2025, the Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Investment Promotions (MOCIIP) said.
Launched in 2021, the ministry offers two Investment Residency Programs through real estate, commercial investment and long-term bank deposits on a renewable five and ten-year basis subject to applicants meeting specific criteria.
Meanwhile, the number of investment opportunities streamlined through “Invest Oman” platform stood at 68, while the total number of investment projects whose applications are being processed through the same platform stood at 90, said the Ministry.
