A new partnership between LYNEports and AeroVecto is paving the way for hybrid electric vertical takeoff and landing (VTOL) aircraft to take flight in Oman.
The collaboration focuses on AeroVecto’s flagship eVTOL aircraft, the Shuttle, which aims to revolutionize public transportation in Oman and the wider GCC region. Designed with a focus on passenger capacity and comfort, the Shuttle is expected to reshape urban and intercity mobility by offering clean, efficient, and scalable aerial transport.
As part of the agreement, LYNEports will support the planning and simulation of the Shuttle’s operational network. Their AI-powered platform will be used to identify optimal locations, simulate flight paths, and map out integrated transport systems, ensuring aviation-grade safety, operational feasibility, and regulatory alignment from the outset.
Rasha Alshami, CEO of LYNEports, commented:
“We’re proud to support AeroVecto in realizing their forward-thinking transport solutions. Their dedication to addressing real public mobility challenges mirrors our mission to deliver safe, accessible, and well-planned AAM infrastructure from day one.”
Fahad Al Riyami, CEO of AeroVecto, added:
“Our goal is to make high-capacity aerial commuting a viable option for cities across the region. This partnership with LYNEports will help us advance vertiport planning and route optimization for our Shuttle network, bringing efficient urban air mobility closer to reality.”
The initiative positions Oman as a rising leader in advanced air mobility (AAM) and next-generation public transport, marking a major step toward integrating innovative technology with everyday urban life.
