Hamad Medical Corporation (HMC) has officially launched its new mobile application, ‘Lbaih,’ designed to streamline patient access to healthcare services and enhance the overall treatment journey.
The launch of Lbaih marks a significant milestone in HMC’s digital transformation agenda and aligns with Qatar National Vision 2030, which emphasizes building an integrated, technology-driven healthcare system.
Developed to improve quality of life and promote smart healthcare infrastructure, the app provides a wide range of services. Users can:
View, reschedule, or cancel medical appointments
Access medical records, including vital signs, lab results, and prescriptions
Receive appointment reminders and notifications through the app
With a user-friendly interface, Lbaih is available on smartphones and offers a unified digital experience across HMC’s network of hospitals and clinics. Access is secured through the Qatar National Authentication System (NAS), with support for facial recognition and fingerprint login for added convenience.
Leadership Endorsements
Dr. Khalid Mohammed Al Jalham, Chief Medical Officer at HMC, emphasized that Lbaih represents a transformative leap in patient care. “This app is part of our broader commitment to enhancing the patient experience and leveraging digital innovation to improve service delivery,” he said.
He added that the integration of AI and smart technologies will further support patients in accessing care, engaging with providers, and monitoring their health data throughout their treatment journey.
Mr. Nasser Al Naimi, Chief of Patient Experience at HMC and Director of the Hamad Healthcare Quality Institute, highlighted the app’s role in empowering patients. “Lbaih gives individuals greater control over their care, allowing them to manage appointments, view their records, and stay informed—anytime, anywhere—with strong privacy and data security,” he said.
A Call to Action
HMC encourages all patients and members of the public to download Lbaih and explore its features. By putting essential healthcare services at patients’ fingertips, the app is expected to significantly improve user convenience, healthcare accessibility, and patient satisfaction.
