Fifty hotels across Qatar will be offering attractive packages from February 12 to 14 in celebration of National Sport Day (NSD).
This year, Qatar Tourism Authority (QTA) partnered with hotels from across the 2-3- 4- and 5-star categories which will offer various packages designed to promote healthy lifestyles among residents and visitors of all ages, including free access to hotel gyms, discounts on gym memberships of up to 50%, and free gym classes. Foodies can also enjoy healthy buffets at special prices, while those seeking a stay can avail of a ‘bed-and-healthy-breakfast’ at attractive rates for the duration of the offer.
This year, the sector sees a 25 percent in the number of hotels providing special NSD offers compared to 2017. It is also the first year for hotels from the 2- and 3-star categories to participate.
Jawaher Al Khuzaei, Acting Director of Public Relations & Communication at QTA said, “Leveraging our sports and recreation assets is a key area of focus for us as we implement the Next Chapter of National Tourism Sector Strategy 2017-2023.” She added, “NSD is an opportunity to showcase Qatar’s wide array of hotel spas and resorts which form an important part of our sport and recreation tourism offering. We are delighted to see a 25% increase in the number of hospitality partners demonstrating their shared commitment to supporting the country’s vision for a healthy nation.”

Prior reservations are required for all hotel offers – those interested should contact the hotel directly to make a reservation.
