Austrian VAMED company has signed a memorandum of understanding with Iran Housing Investment Company to build two hospitals in the cities of Tabriz and Shiraz.
Ali Moqaddaszadeh, the director of Iran Housing Investment Company which is affiliated with Social Security Organization, leading a delegation comprising of business owners of the private sector, signed the MOU in Vienna, Mehr reported.
Moqaddaszadeh said that VAMED group (with health services being the field of operation of all its enterprises) committed to build two 320-bed public hospitals in Iran worth 200 million euros.
The Iranian Chamber of Commerce, Industries, Mines, and Agriculture (ICCIMA) and the Austrian chamber of commerce, Wirtschaftskammer Österreich (WKO), signed deals worth €2 billion in Vienna on March 31.
Eight deals, including cooperation agreements in automotive, steel, medicine, and engineering, were signed by ICCIMA President Mohsen Jalalpour and WKO President Christoph Leitl.
