The 21st edition of Project Qatar, held under the theme “Innovation & Sustainability: Qatar’s Path to 2030”, will take place from 26 to 29 May 2025 at the Doha Exhibition and Convention Center (DECC).
During a press conference, IFP Qatar, the event organizer, announced that the exhibition will host over 200 local and international companies, including prominent government and semi-government entities as well as key private sector players supporting Qatar’s development and infrastructure ambitions.
This year’s edition will feature strong international participation, most notably with Argentina participating as the Country of Honour under Qatar’s Years of Culture initiative. The Argentine delegation will be led by the Minister of Economic Development of the Province of Buenos Aires. Other high-level delegations include representatives from the Moscow Export Center and the China Electronics Chamber of Commerce (CECC), with over 80 international companies expected to attend.
Hamad Mohammed Al Nasr, Director of Trade Development and Investment Promotion at the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, emphasized the Ministry’s continued support for Project Qatar as one of the country’s leading economic platforms. He highlighted the exhibition’s role in driving economic diversification, empowering the private sector, and strengthening public-private partnerships in line with Qatar National Vision 2030.
“Project Qatar enhances market competitiveness by attracting global players, facilitating knowledge exchange, and promoting the latest technologies in construction, green innovation, and smart manufacturing,” he said.
Abdulla Saad Al Saad, Manager of Public Relations and Communications at Ashghal, noted that the Public Works Authority will participate with a dedicated pavilion showcasing key infrastructure projects, aimed at engaging stakeholders and encouraging future collaboration with consultants, contractors, and suppliers.
Haidar Mshaimesh, General Manager of IFP Qatar, added that the event remains a vital platform for fostering innovation and economic growth:
“For the 21st consecutive year, Project Qatar brings together hundreds of exhibitors from around the world, reinforcing Qatar’s position as a global hub for investment and industry.”
Held alongside Project Qatar is the Qatar Smart Manufacturing Exhibition—the country’s first dedicated platform for industrial automation and digital transformation. Exhibitors will highlight innovations in AI, IoT, smart logistics, and sustainable production systems.
A four-day conference will run concurrently, focusing on key themes:
Day 1: Smart and green building, renewable energy, and AI in construction
Day 2: Smart manufacturing and sustainable industrial solutions
Day 3: Digital transformation for sustainability
Day 4: Training workshop on AI applications in construction and environmental protection
Project Qatar remains the country’s largest and most influential trade exhibition for building materials, equipment, and technologies, held under the patronage of the Ministry of Commerce and Industry and in partnership with Ashghal.
