Best Western International, one of the world's largest hotel chains, has announced the Middle East launch of its brand, Best Western Premier, with opening of its first 4-star deluxe hotel in Oman this October. Best Western Premier Muscat, is located in the key business and commercial district of Al Khuwair, close to several embassies and government ministries.
The opening of the hotel will mark the debut of the brand in the Middle East, entering a new era of development in Best Western's 66-year history and a key stage of the Middle East hotel industry, said a senior official. "The Middle East is one of the most exciting hotel markets in the world today, and the cosmopolitan city of Muscat is at the heart of its development," said Glenn de Souza, Best Western International's VP International Operations (Asia & the Middle East).
With its ideal location, perfect for both business and leisure travelers, the hotel is certain to become a key part of Muscat's tourism industry scene when it opens its doors in October, he noted. The new luxury hotel, he said, will offer the perfect combination of superior facilities, exquisite service and international-standard amenities in the center of this fast-growing city.
"I am sure this hotel will prove to be a game-changer – not only for the city of Muscat and Oman, but also for Best Western's development in the Middle East," he remarked. "Designed in a modern yet traditional style, guests at the 10-storey hotel are greeted in a refreshing lobby. Its 203 contemporary guestrooms and suites offer a range of refined amenities such as plush bedding, 42-inch LED flat-screen TVs with a variety of satellite channels, complimentary Wi-Fi and luxurious bathrooms with rain showers," he added.
De Souza said the Oman launch comes as part of Best Western's expansion strategy for the Middle East region. "In addition to the four existing hotels in Riyadh, Al Khobar, Doha and Tel Aviv, Best Western plans to add a further 20 hotels across the region within 2015," he added.
