Kuwait has announced plans to develop 30 major infrastructure projects worth KD3.43 billion ($11.3 billion) under the 2015-16 development plan, said a report.
The Ministry of Public Works has planned a total of 115 development projects for the next two years, of this 30 are being set for 2015-16 period, said the state news agency Kuna.
Six major development projects including the Jaber causeway, the regional highway, Kuwait International Airport expansion and Mubarak Al Kabeer port will be implemented next year, it stated.
The projected cost of total development projects amounts to KD7.77 billion ($25.5 billion), the report added.
