Construction has officially begun on “Baghdad View,” a landmark project poised to become Iraq’s largest vertical residential city, featuring more than 200 towers, each rising 20 stories high.
Strategically located along Baghdad International Airport Road, adjacent to the American University and Al-Bayan University, the development is part of the broader Al-Ukhuwa Residential City initiative.
“Baghdad View” will introduce a variety of housing options — from studio apartments (a first for the capital) to spacious three-bedroom units — all offering scenic views of the Presidential Palace lakes or the city skyline.
To enhance accessibility, units are being offered at a subsidized rate of approximately $930 per square meter (based on the Central Bank’s exchange rate), with flexible payment plans and interest-free mortgage options provided by the developer.
Designed as a fully integrated community, the project will feature:
Expansive green spaces and water landscapes
Schools, a hospital, and medical centers
A shopping complex and a commercial promenade with restaurants and cafes
A full-scale sports club with pools and courts
Children’s play areas, and dedicated walking, jogging, and cycling tracks
Essential services including a fire station and police post
“Baghdad View” aims to redefine urban living in Iraq, delivering modern, community-focused housing on an unprecedented scale.
