KidzMondo, a $20 million indoor theme park, would open its doors in May 2013 in Lebanon after more than two years of planning and construction. The educational entertainment center will offer all the foundations of a real city: hotel, hospital, fire house, grocery store, eateries, factories, artisan shops, gas station, archeological sites, salons, an airline carrier and local entertainment.
Lebanese and international businesses will operate in KidzMondo giving children the chance to learn and experience what it is to be an adult. MTV Lebanon, NRJ radio, LibanPost, Middle East Airlines, Bank Audi, Exotica, Tonino, Dunkin’ Donuts, Pain d’Or, American University of Beirut Medical Center, Sukleen, Pepsi, Samsung, Burger King and many others will be at KidzMondo.
A KidzMondo has signed on with Istanbul’s Trump Towers. The venue will offer a slightly altered version in Turkish, rather than Beirut’s bilingual English-Arabic model.
A third KidzMondo is also under way in Abu Dhabi, though the much larger theme park will take longer to complete. The expansive location plans to mimic the layout and appropriate professions of Abu Dhabi, such as an oil refinery. Three more locations are being finalized for KidzMondo in Africa and East Asia.
