More than 45 French companies are participating in the ongoing Project Qatar exhibition at the Doha Exhibitions Centre.
As in previous years, the French pavilion is set up by UBIFRANCE, the French agency for International Business Development. France’s building sector is a powerful driver for its economy and three companies participating here are listed among the top 5-European sector leaders.
Large international groups and small companies that develop leading edge technologies are among the attractions of the pavilion. The new thermal regulation, which is effective in France since 2012 for all new constructions, accelerated the country’s ecological transformation and the arrival on the market of extremely efficient technologies to meet the requirements which are amongst the most demanding in the world.
Some of those advanced technologies are on display at the pavilion. This explains the strong appeal on behalf of French companies for the Middle East, where there is high demand for environmental technologies.
The delegation involves 30 new participants, which is enough to prove that this market has generated great interest. The regions of Alsace, Centre and Franche Comté have participants in the event. France is represented in halls 1 and 3 of the Doha Exhibition Centre.
