Her Excellency Dr. Hanan Mohamed Al Kuwari, Minister of Public Health, officially launched the Hamad Medical Corporation (HMC) Healthcare Strategy for 2024-2030 on Sunday, marking a pivotal step in Qatar’s healthcare evolution. The strategy is aligned with Qatar’s Third National Development Strategy and the National Health Strategy 2024-2030, reflecting an ambitious vision for HMC to strengthen its role as a leading healthcare provider in the region, focused on delivering high-quality care to the people of Qatar.
During the launch, Dr. Al Kuwari emphasized the remarkable progress of Qatar’s health sector, which has gained a strong global reputation due to a forward-thinking vision and enhanced leadership in the region. She highlighted the significance of this new phase for HMC, stating that the corporation boasts a history of exceptional achievements, with substantial growth and improved healthcare quality.
“The successful implementation of this strategy will bring us closer to our vision of becoming a recognized leader in healthcare, known for providing high-quality, innovative care for all,” she added.
HMC’s 2024-2030 strategy is centered on three key objectives:
- Lead and Shape: Collaborating with partners to establish clinical standards and ensure patients across Qatar receive safe and consistent care.
- Deliver Best Value: Focusing on the best clinical outcomes and enhancing the patient experience, while ensuring value for both patients and the healthcare system.
- Learn and Create: Continuing HMC’s leadership in research and education to drive innovation and ongoing improvements in patient care.
